Follow the steps in HAVEN Installer to associate the new device to the homeowner’s account.
When you get to the Position Validation step, remove the screws from the mounting plate and insert the probe.
You can try using the same hole or simply drill a new one with the appropriate sized hole saw. Test the angles as the app instructions indicate.
Secure the mounting plate in the position with the strongest airflow signal detected.
If a 5-10 degree change is needed and you are using the old hole, it may be tricky to secure the screws so closely to the old . In this case, it will be best to remove the mounting plate and start from scratch.
Use a hole saw and make a new hole.
Repeat the Position Validation steps to find the strongest airflow signal.
Secure mounting plate with the self-drilling screws.
